Your students will learn their Doubles and Doubles Plus One with the Highlife Rhythm from Nigeria. For Multiplication Tables and Skip Counting, they will use the Clave Beat, which is a popular rhythmic pattern in West Africa and played throughout the world.

Each pattern is taught with hand movements (please see video above), and is translated into musical notation with popular Unifix Cubes!
